My mom was a photographer before I ever picked up a camera.

I grew up modeling for her, holding reflectors at golden hour, watching her edit long after everyone else had gone to bed. I “borrowed” her Canon DSLR more times than she probably realized (sorry, mom), dragging my friends into fields and parking garages to create something that felt bigger than us.

I am very much my mother’s daughter. - I look like her. Talk like her. Walk like her.

And for a long time, that terrified me.

I was determined to have my own identity. Photography? Absolutely not. I was going to be a lawyer. Or something.

But even while I was insisting photography wasn’t my path… I was still borrowing the camera.

 

In high school, I started photographing my friends. Then their friends. Then their friends’ friends. What began as a hobby became something real.

 

In 2018, as a junior, I photographed my first wedding. In 2024, I went full time.

I love romanticizing life. I love making ordinary moments feel cinematic. I love helping people see themselves the way they deserve to be seen.

Everyone deserves to feel like the main character.

And I get to create the proof.
